David Lynch wants kids to meditate. And $7 Billion.

Filmmaker David Lynch wants to raise $7 billion to bring about world peace through a massive transcendental meditation program. Towards that end, he has established The David Lynch Foundation for Consciousness-Based Education and World Peace in order to bring transcendental meditation to schoolchildren everywhere, and hopes to someday make it a standard part of every school's curriculum.

"People laugh at $7 billion," says Lynch, who has practiced meditation for over thirty years. "But it would stay in a bank account and the interest would be enough to keep things going on a permanent basis."
